[fixed] Blank Canvas Stopped Working on 1/28/2010

I don't appear to be the only one with this issue.  BC worked perfectly until today.  I cannot pinpoint at what time it ceased today.

I attempted to uninstall/reinstall and the re-installation fails.  Firefox states:

Firefox could not install the file at

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/downloads/latest/7757/addon-7757-latest.xpi?src=addondetail

because: Unexpected installation error
Review the Error Console log for more details.

  • What version of the add-on are you using? 1.11.13
  • What version of Firefox are you using? 3.6
  • What locale is your Firefox set to? (e.g. en-US, pt-BR, etc.) en-US
  • Are you using regular Gmail or Google Apps? Gmail
  • Do you have any "send as" addresses set up? yes
  • What language is your Gmail account set to? US english
  • What other add-ons do you have installed and enabled? Autopager, Better Gmail, FireFTP, Google Gears, Google Toolbar, .NET, Logmein, Skype, Java Console, Web Developer 1.8.1

It stopped working around that time for me too.

Firefox 3.5.7 on Ubuntu 8.10, standard gmail account and tons of addons. Neither 1.11.13 or 1.11.12 are working. They install but they just don't work.

Tried uninstall, reinstall several times but nothing works.

Do you believe my issue with reinstalling BC is related to the Greasemonkey API issue as well?

I look forward to having BC back working ;-)

Sadly no, I do not think that the problem is related. There are always stupid little errors with the Firefox install site. Are you at least able to get it installed on another computer? You could also re-install Firefox from scratch and give that a shot, but no one, myself included, wants to go through all that.

I too have this same issue. I tried to download BC at that day and it did not work. Download error. Please get this fixed, this is the only app like it for FF. Thanks for all your hard work to keep this going!
