Custom HTML is not consistent in different email apps -- can this be controlled?

I'm testing out a custom HTML signature and emailing it to my Entourage email app, a yahoo account, and a Gmail account.

The custom font doesn't show up in any web-based email app, probably because it is not a standard system or web font.

It shows up fine in my Entourage account.

The website address is broken in Entourage though, it is showing the link and the link code, but web addresses are showing up fine in the web-based accounts. I just want it to be a link, not show the link code.

Is there any way to rectify either situation?

Thanks...

My code:

<div style="font-family:BankGothic Lt BT Light, sans-serif; font-size:small; color:#333333;">
Tom Boland<br />
1243 N. Crescent Heights Blvd.<br />
Los Angeles, CA 90046</p>

tom@tombolandinc.com<br />
 <href="http://www.tombolandinc.com" target="_blank">www.tombolandinc.com</a><br />
</div>

shows up like this:
